my school administrator sent out an email to parents today telling them we will continue using hybrid learning in light of the new mask mandate for those who don't want their kids on campus. he did this without consulting his staff, and then announced it to parents without any heads up to any of us. i'm not happy with the way this was done.

we'll get to remove our masks when we're outdoors, so that's a step up, i guess.

...just going around Twitter this morning, some unnamed White House official hinting that Biden is preparing a major speech on Covid, including lockdowns etc. Supposed to be a 9/11 type response. Better stock up on supplies.

Of course it's Twitter so it could all be BS. But it makes sense in a way. The administration is frustrated at the millions of people who won't get the vaccine. Their public relations campaign has stalled. Blacks and Hispanics don't want the vaccine.
