Really hoping that ozone does kill covid on surfaces.  If so, it can make masks reusable, rooms (and transport) more easily and thoroughly sanitized in a quick way, dramatically reducing the spread.  

There are a couple guys out there making small machines but the speed of adoption could be as important as anything else

In case you're wondering, it's not the whole length of the swab that goes to the lab. The swab is scored so that it snaps off and leaves about the last two inches in a specimen tube that is then sealed.
