Jeter was a Yankee fan that loved Dave Winfield who was a Padre.  Jeter was from Florida but went to high school in Michigan.  He was drafted by the Yankees and stayed with one team for his whole career.  

Trout was a Phillies fan that loved Derek Jeter who was a Yankee.  Trout is from New Jersey and went to high school in New Jersey.  He was drafted by the Angels. He's a Philadelphia Eagles fan.  

Therefore, Trout will be an Angels forever.

cant live that way. You need to stay positive and if he decides to leave than whatever, the overall health of the organization will be 100% better and Adell/Marsh/Adams etc. are going to be ready to make major contributions at that point. We know better than any other fan base having one great player isn’t enough.

Just to be clear, those three guys combined are not likely to have a better career than Trout, even if they end up as average to all-star level players. So, no, the overall health of the organization will not be better if Trout leaves. If he does - which is his choice - we as fans will deal with it and move on. But in no way will the organization be better for it. That’s an utter crock.

i said the overall health of the organization will be better because Eppler has made the minor league system much better and it will continue to get better and supplement the major league team with  good, cost controlled players regardless if Trout is here or not. Where did I ever state the Angels would be better off without Trout?
