He just recently stopped doing conventions and stuff.  Seemed like he was pretty active as he got older.  Good for him.  Rest In Peace Stan.

Another part of my childhood passes on. I bought a good number of Spider Man comic books during the 1960's...also collected Fantastic Four, Incredible Hulk, Avengers, etc. as well as the DC-produced Batman. 

They're all gone now and I can't recall how the hell that happened.

I didnt read comic books growing up, but a lot of the movies have been really good. His little cameos were always cool.
