What am i missing?  this only affect those seeking asylum, which few qualify for anyway.
I do find it intriguing that it took something like this caravan to make Mexico see the light before they have this every other month.

Did you read the article? Asylum is the excuse that illegals use to gain access to the country. The backlog allows them to stay for years.

Im aware of that, the point is that revamping ta program that maybe 5-10% at most actually qualify for seems a drop in the bucket
