Something is wrong with Trout

he's had times where he's slumped, but it's never been this bad.  Not only is he 0 fer his last whatever, he can't even square a ball up.

0 for his last 21. That’s what happens when you stare at your pitch every at bat and wait for a walk. Didn’t he stop staring at the first pitch a few seasons ago? Well he’s back to doing that and it’s always a strike right down the middle. Pujols does the same thing, only to swing at the next pitch in the dirt.

They did.  And he hasn't had a hit since.  He came in the 7th and went 0-1.  He was 0-2 with 4bb the previous game

The best player still have slumps, it happens.  Its a game of averages, he started so hot it was inevitable. 
Give the man a day off, whatever, im betting hes just fine. 
Funny part is that people think Trout is hurt and Calhoun just suddenly forgot how to play the game and noone else has suggested something wrong with him

timing still off IMO.  Taking lots of hittable pitches.  That's the hallmark of a trout slump.

With Trout, it's always that front foot, he needs to get it down in time. That and I sort of feel like he's getting screwed by some piss poor officiating lately which is forcing him to swing at pitches outside of the zone. Combine that with the offense being terrible and him pressing and you have the makings of a slump.

And when you’re the only guy on the team that can hit and are not hitting there’s a good chance the team is fucked. Which is currently happening.

It would definitely help if men were on base for him and Upton and Pujols were threats behind him but they are not at the moment.  There is really no reason for a pitcher to be near the plate when Trout's up to bat.

I noticed on a swing in yesterday's game that stuck out to me.  It was a fastball away that Trout tried to pull and he fouled it off thankfully.  But he didn't appear to be trying to hit the other way.  Maybe it's a wrong approach right now that he is taking.
