  1. not sure he was that disliked. He just sucked.
  2. Stanton and Judge said they won't participate. I can see Machado doing it since he's just up the road in Baltimore. You may not like Ohtani but he puts people in the seats, and people go to the stadium just to watch his BP homer runs.
  3. Never bought that. Too hard in baseball. Injuries, facing two hot pitchers in a series, cold bats, too many factors make it hard to realistically be a Dynasty now. I guess you could say the Giants came close but never repeated. Just glad we won the one we did because the current Indians group will probably never get as close as they did in that game 7. Basketball's a lot easier since you only have 5 players out on the court. If you can stack it with 5 super stars then that's hard to beat.
  4. What a joke. Might as well stop watching. It's turning into the Globetrotters (Warriors) vs the Washington Generals (rest of league).
  5. It's just BP. He does that anyway and people flock to watch it before the game.
  6. And Bryce Harper said he would participate in his first home run derby if he makes the All - Star game. And Harper is Ohtani's hitting idol.
  7. Cause it sells tickets and draws TV ratings.
  8. Will Ohtani do the Home Run Derby now that he probably won't be in the All Star Game?
  9. I could see Philly or NY area (Mets) or where his wife is from if they have kids.
  10. He should pitch left handed until his right elbow is healed.
  11. So, he has a blister injury and then all of a sudden his elbow tears. That's like reporting a broken toe nail and then the next day it's an ACL.
  12. The question is though did they have him skip a start because of some kind of elbow problem or did having him skip a start throw him off his routine and cause the elbow UCL.
  13. They just need to DH him for the rest of the season till maybe September unless they are going to Tommy John him immediately. The Nats really botched their timing with Strasbourg the first couple years. Strasburg dominated for 12 games during his rookie year and then was just down for Tommy John and then they timed it poorly in the following years so he ended up missing the playoff or something like that.
