What's Law's point?  People who flip burgers help make McDonald's into a bazillion dollar company.  We all have to earn what we get.  This is a lame take IMO.

Some Minor league players end up making less than minimum wage when you factor in batting practice and everything else.   It's a jacked up system.

It’s not major league money, and many would say that $10,000 a month would allow you to live comfortably, but remember, the seasons in the minors are shorter than those in MLB.

That would be about $60k for the players over their 6 months. Now if you look at the median salary in the US it is right in line with those numbers except one small detail. The rest of America's wage earners work 12 months out of the year.

No, it's not Major league money but they are not major league players and half the minor league teams can barely get fans in the stadium to watch them play. You might say they are being paid their actual market value.

MLB places Addisson Russell on administrative leave after his ex-wife posted details on the abuse he's alleged to have done.

In a pure baseball sense, I don't think it's a big hit to the cubs, if any.

It's easy to do the right thing when a player is hitting .250. Curious if the results would have been the same if he were hitting. 325.

Or they could just release him so the Astros can pick him up.

MLB placed him on administrative leave, the Cubs support the decision, whatever that means.

Then again they traded for Chapman, so who knows with them.
