Yeah, they peaked early and it was unsustainable but they have a solid foundation to compete against the Braves next season.  They have a -16 run differential...they got the most they could out of their team this year.

The first 11 A's batters reached base safely last night in the 3rd inning as Oakland scored 10 runs against Baltimore.

A's are now one game behind the Yankees for the first wild card.

8-9, 1.71 ERA, 0.954 WHIP, 11.0 K/9, and 8.7 WAR.

 

He's got a 2.71 ERA in losses, and a 1.41 ERA in no decisions.

Bregman really helped the Stros while Altuve, Springer and Correa were out with injuries. If he was on the east coast he would garner a good deal of MVP votes.

lol  

that wasn't their opening day rotation. it was a website's prediction, made before spring training camp opened, of what their rotation would be. two of those guys were lost for the year before their season even began.
