Oh my favorite - as the angels are clinging to a desperate hope, the team in front of us in the standings is playing, say, the Phillies.  Phillies get swept, and then the "Thanks a lot, Phillies" Guy appears.

I really loathe negative guy. everything about the team sucks, the coaching sucks, whichever player is struggling sucks, etc. we'll win a game but negative guy will say something like, "yeah, nice win, but so and so hit into two double plays" or "we won, but I'm worried about x"
