Funny how crude oil goes up, when all the refineries are striking.  The Man is at it again.

There are also a lot of traders closing out their short positions. That's a good part of this spike.

Oil down 4% today. Rally is over.

Down 9% now. I love the spin the financial media put on things. Last week we were told that inventories were way down and refineries going on strike. Today we're informed of an "unexpected" huge jump in inventory causing prices to plunge.

 

I don't believe anything anymore.

I have a Shell Fuel Rewards card. When I first got it, there were three Shell stations in my area. I would get a minimum of three cents per gallon off, and I would get five cents per gallon for every $50 I spent with one of their partner businesses paid with a linked card. At times it has given me discounts as big as 25-30 cents per gallon. Within the last six months two of the stations have dropped Shell (one went to Sinclair, the other to Mobil) and the third stopped accepting the Fuel Rewards card because they have their own card for the chain.

I use arco, 76, or shell.

Arco is garbage, so is Valero.  76/Chevron is your best bet.

There are no Arco's in or near Anaheim Hills, Foothill Ranch, Paramaribo, Rancho Santa Margarita or Villa Park.

There actually is an Arco in Paramaribo. Maybe you should get to know your local community a little better.

Citigroup said in a report today that the recent spike in oil prices is a head fake, and that $20/barrel is very possible.

lowest priced gas in glendale is at ARCO. highest priced is consistently 76 and chevron, and usually by quite a bit more.
