So now we have the answer. High gas prices are a result of improper spelling and grammar caused by predictive text and autocorrect. Or Elon Musk. Probably both

Yes, which is why everyone needs to hire a good copyeditor.

Oil is currently up $3 as of today so expect prices to climb even more. The good news is oil production is looking to exceed 2019 levels soon. So what's with the prices? Is it the number of active rigs as the article states? Shale? Oil is being produced so that isn't the issue despite the political talk these days. Does it really just come down to supply and demand? With summer ending, this is when you usually see a fall in prices but no luck so far.

Why would gas companies bring the prices down if people have to pay for gas anyway? Most people who live in California are dependent on their cars, so "driving less" isn't really an option.

I’m in San Antonio this week and has I’d $2.45 a gallon. It’s amazing we are still paying as much as we are in Cali.

Filled up at Costco on Friday and it was $4.39.  So close to a $2 spread. At 15 gallons that would have saved me $30.  That's quit a bit.

Sometimes I think you actually believe it's as simple as corporate greed. Perhaps you should open that QR code and fact check it for yourself if you think they are full of it

Lol @ CNN Business and Forbes. Two sources that will never admit corporations are to blame for anything.

There are factors that make gas more expensive in California, but not all of these are because the commie California government is making it so difficult for the gas companies to faithfully serve their customers.

Cost of living is one of the biggest drivers in gas prices. They charge more than necessary because they can get away with it.
