What's going on in Venezuela is being compared to what happened in Ukraine, which is a coup by the country's oligarchs, with a little 'help' of course.  Those people protesting in Venezuela aren't the poor, it's the rich that are protesting.

Yeah, the closest station by a Chevron is at 3.05, where the mobile probably a block away is at 2.89.  I can't see how this guy stays in business, since he is always about that much higher all the time.  I never see anyone filling up, where the station down the street is always packed.

It'll be very interesting to see the quarters earnings for the oil companies.  If they are still making record profits, then it just reinforces that they are trying to fleece everyone because they can.
