  1. About as dumb as your comment above? WTF are you babbling about. What does Bush and Obama have to do with anything I had said?
  2. It's been almost 2 years now, and I'm still waiting for the intelligence community to publicly release the "undeniable proof" they claim to have of Russian hacking/meddling/collusion. Many ex US intelligence officials are on record as saying any evidence they have could easily be released to the public without compromising any sources or methods used to obtain such evidence. Until they release this "undeniable proof", it's de facto "fake" news.
  3. Does anyone here really believe this bull market will last much longer? There's at least 4 all-time bubbles right now in housing (again), auto subprime loans, student loans, and derivatives. Credit card debt also reached an all-time high not that long ago. It will be interesting to see the market's reaction when Janet Yellen is likely replaced by Jerome Powell within the next few weeks. Even though Powell is not directly chosen by Trump, it find it interesting how the media is touting Powell as "Trump's pick". Is Trump and Powell being set up to become the scapegoats? Not to sound too conspiratorial, but I truly believe that Trump was chosen to be the "fall guy" for the inevitable crash of the stock market. It's as if they knew this crazy run wouldn't last another 4-8 years so they needed an "outsider" to become president and take all the blame for the mess they created. I can see the DOW reaching 30,000 before they decide to pull the plug.
  4. When it comes to defensive metrics, the area where he's average at best is holding runners (already on-base) from taking extra bases. Baseball-reference shows a league average "held" rate for five specific situations being roughly 44% on a yearly basis, and only one time has Trout been above that which was at 50.9%. Surprisingly, that was in 2013, not 2012. If runners are taking extra bases, they're more likely to score, hence the low DRS totals.
  5. There's a few things here and there that tend to "lag" a game from time to time, but are mostly having to do with specific teams and players. It's by far the exception and not the rule. If they want to save some time, they should start by eliminating the singing of 'God Bless America' and also getting rid of the 7th inning stretch. They may even want to consider getting rid of the national anthem. Save that stuff for the playoffs and holidays. Don't need it sung before every single darn game. The irony of it all is they say they want shorter games while at the same time wanting more offense. More offense means more visits to the mound, more pitching changes, and much longer games. Do they not see the contradiction of what they're trying to do?
  6. Google just being google. I typed 'Trout car accident' and nothing. Then I tried 'Mike Trout car accident' and presto. Sorry for causing any headline scare. Didn't want to freak anyone out. That's why I mentioned seeing him on the news 'talking' with officers in my initial post. My main concern after that was injuries to others. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't also a little scared about alcohol (a beer or two) being involved, with him having a off day today.
  7. I checked the official website and google and nothing came up.
  8. Seen a clip on the news with cameras showing him talking to officers, but no other details.
  9. Soros definitely made a killing. Vampire was buying a lot of gold the last few weeks. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-13/soros-buying-gold-brexit-eu-“collapse”-risk
  10. Not as bas as I was thinking. Looks like the mini dump we had at the end of 2014. Will be interesting to see what happens next week. These markets are so rigged that the people who control it are probably making a killing somehow.
  11. Stocks are ready to take a dump in the am. This could be worse than 2008. Buckle up. http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2016-06-23/nailbiter-continues-here-are-first-official-results-and-they-give-bremain-some-hope
  12. Didn't see any thread on the fires so... Just came across some of the videos that has been seen in the news lately. Scary shit for these people. First 3 videos total 9 minutes from the front of the truck. Last 3 videos are the same 9 minutes from the rear of the truck.
  13. Either Trout or Calhoun needs to move to the 4-hole. Anything to get Calhoun behind him. 3. Trout 4. Calhoun 5. Pujols or 3. Pujols 4. Trout 5. Calhoun
  14. An after thought in who's mission planning, Russia's? Are you fk'n kidding me?? Please list me the accomplishments of the US against IS in Syria before Russia started bombing them on Sept 30. I'm sure there's plenty.
  15. How Turkey Exports ISIS Oil To The World: The Scientific Evidence http://www.zerohedge.com/news/2015-11-27/how-turkey-exports-isis-oil-world-scientific-evidence
  16. Well, there's only one "area" Russia is bombing ISIS and other terrorists, and that's inside Syria.
  17. Turkey claims the two Su-24 planes entered their airspace for 17 seconds at a depth of 1.36 miles and 1.15 miles before they were engaged, and if the actual flight path is as they claim, the jets would've been well into Syrian territory before being fired upon. According to the Turks, the jet was making a bee line across a little peninsula that is only 2-3 miles wide. According to the pilot, the only way for their plane to still be inside Turkish airspace over that peninsula after 17 seconds, their planes would have to have been flying at 'stall' speeds. What the Turks are claiming not only sounds very unlikely, it sounds impossible. Has Turkey released their 'official' flight data or radar data (like the Russians already have) to dispute Russia's data? No. All I've seen from them so far is a virtual map showing what they claim to be the flight paths of the two Russian jets. Until they release any official data or recordings proving otherwise, I'll believe the Russians for now. Regardless of who's telling the truth, how many times has Turkey violated Syrian airspace in the last 6 months? How many times has Turkey violated other neighbors like Greece's airspace? They violated Greece's airspace 2244 times in 2014, and all without incident! In a bit of irony, Syria did in fact shoot down a Turkish plane violating their airspace back in 2012. And what did Erdogan say at that time?? “a short-term border violation can never be a pretext for an attack”. For arguments sake, let's say the Russian jet was actually inside Turkish airspace, how the hell can you justify shooting down a jet that was in your airspace for only 17 seconds? The only way they can justify it is if Turkey is protecting ISIS along with other terrorists, and there's a mountain of evidence and incriminating comments made by many Turkish officials that shows they're clearly in bed with ISIS.
  18. Russian pilot that survived says no warnings given: "In actual fact, there were no warnings at all. Neither through the radio, nor visually, so we did not at any point adjust our course. You need to understand the difference in speed between a tactical bomber like a Su-24, and that of the F16. If they wanted to warn us, they could have sat on our wing,................“As it was, the missile hit the back of our plane out of nowhere. We didn’t even have time to make an evasive maneuver.” https://www.rt.com/news/323431-saved-pilot-turkish-su24/
  19. So you were talking to American pilots who admitted to violating Syrian airspace hundreds of times?
  20. The Turks have already said that the Russian jet was in their airspace for only 17 seconds. I don't know how they can admit to that and at the same time say they warned them for 9 minutes. They're contradicting their own statements the more they speak. And now Turkey says they warned two SU-24 planes of unknown nationality for over 5 minutes. https://www.rt.com/news/323369-turkey-downed-russian-jet/
  21. It would definitely be difficult at this time. There would be several things they'd have to do before they can secure the airspace from a logistical standpoint. The more I think about it, the more I think the next move from Russia will be to declare the "rebels" who shot down the helicopter as 'terrorists' and make them one of their top priorities along with defeating ISIS. That may be the purpose of setting up their missile cruiser to protect their jets. Don't be surprised to see Russia go directly at the Turkmen rebels in the coming days.
  22. And of all those countries, how many have authorization from Assad or the UN? Without it, they are in clear violation of a sovereign state and in violation of international law. Assad and Russia have every right to impose a no-fly zone if they choose to. I doubt it happens in the next few days, but I can see them moving towards that scenario over the next month or two.
  23. Erdogan's son Bilal has been buying oil from ISIS and selling it to Japan, and his own daughter has been operating a hospital strictly used to help ISIS terrorists fleeing back to Turkey with injuries from battle. That entire family is knee deep in this mess. The US, Saudis, Turks, and Qataris are the main supporters and handlers of ISIS.
