The Arco near my house jumped 26 cents in two days. I am sure this us just the start of it - I fully expect to see $3 a gallon as we prepare for people to put a few extra miles on their car for Memorial Day.

Chevron in Huntington Beach, at Golden West and Warner, was 2.79 this morning.

 

A couple blocks down the street at Slater, the ARCO was 2.09.

Up to $2.55 a gallon now. It has gone up almost 50 cents in just a few weeks. Can't wait till we get to enjoy some of that summer blend.

Oil is steadily rising, up to $38/barrel now. Gas is following quickly, of course.

 

When prices plunge, gas prices inch down. When oil goes back up, gas skyrockets.
