Not really.  Highest taxes in the nation.  Old delapidated refineries.  Custom gas that isn't available anywhere else in the world.  

Isn't paying $1.60 more than Nate worth it for the environment?  

Oh, and BTW.  Here is how screwy CA gas is.  On average, our gas prices are currently $0.50 higher than Hawaii.

it pretty much evens out, considering he has to drive 35 miles to get to the nearest corner market

2 weeks ago I paid $5.08 a gallon in Fullerton....

I just finished a road trip back east... paid (not making this up) $100.00 almost even for 2.5 tanks of gas in the same truck ai drive here. Thats about what one and a quarter tanks could cost me here.

i expect our gas prices to go up accordingly.

They are working on the 5 near my place, and the 405 near my work. Don't know if it's paid for by the gas tax though. I'll ask the workers next time I drive by.

There's a 16-mile stretch of the 405 from Seal Beach southward that is undergoing a huge project, to add one traffic lane on each side and shore up old bridges. It will last until 2023. 

I'm okay with tax money going to things like this.

Oil fell 16% this week.

What are the chances of gas falling even close to this? That would be about a 48 cent cut.

Watch it fall a dime and jump at the first rise back up in oil.

Still waiting to see the significantly lower gas prices as oil continues to plunge.

It's been stuck at $3.59 at most Chevron stations for the past month.
