I would rather lose the way we did...

So this is definitely a troll post, right?

If it isn't, you are telling me that there is an Angel "fan" who would have rather watched CJ Wilson, who would have rather have watched all those Hamilton at bats, than go on the roller coaster ride the Royals have been on for the past month.

I'm not buying it.

Get lost, troll.

Saying you would rather lose in round 1 than game 7 of the WS.  How many players are even able to say they PLAYED in game 7 of a WS.  Yes, it is heartbreaking to lose but to put yourself out there and for your team to be in that position is what every player wants.  KC has nothing to hang their head about. They breezed through the first two rounds and forced a game 7. Not even their fans expected that. The team exceeded all expectations and their players got valuable experience they can use in the future. And they won the frickin pennant.

every time i hear this sentiment, it inevitably comes from a person that hasn't ever put their neck on the line. life isn't all or nothing. you need a remedial course in life lessons 101.

Thank you!  Its not about winning its about how your competing.  If you get to game 7 of the WS and lose with the tying run on third it would be painful, but a hell of a lot better season than the Angels getting swept.

Yep.  There is no pride in just getting to the World Series, otherwise the Rangers are a better franchise then the Angels.

A world series title is a lot better than a world series appearance, but a world series appearance is better than failing to make the playoffs at all (2010, 2011)
