Warriors built their core through the draft, added some nice Vets (Iggy, zaza, west, Livingston) and 1 super star in Durant.

On a side note I really wish I could go to the ESPN or Sportsline websites without one of the headlines talking about the social media spats athletes and/or famous people are in.  I realize that's what their business has turned into and just about everyone but me is on social media but it just seems like some extension of high school that most people grew out of or at least I didn't have to hear about anymore.

Right. I love the people bitching about them as a "super team."

They have one superstar free-agent, and a bunch of home grown late round draft picks.

It wasn't the joke of the Heat with huge dual FA signing. Or the Cavs with more first overall picks than the Oilers.

Folks just love to hate. But the Warriors have been built from scratch as the premier organization in the league.

They'll win 5 championships with this core.

last year, buddy heald was highly touted and there was a good deal of anticipation about his career. just realized the other day that i never heard a single thing about him for the entire season. i didn't even know what team he was on.

summer league highlights tonight of the lakers game were on and buddy was mentioned. he's playing for sacramento.

trade is on hold as there are questions about thomas' health as he recovers from a hip injury.

others may feel differently, but i think it's been to their detriment to let kids come out of school so early to join the NBA. i stopped watching games years ago and don't care about the game anymore.

About the only thing that would increase my interest in the NBA again is getting a team here. That said, it would probably be a team that relocated because they weren't drawing in their present city due to years of bad teams - death in a city with this much entertainment.
