The NBA's recent deal with MGM to become their official betting sponsor all but cinches that an NBA team will be coming to T-Mobile Arena. All that remains is deciding which one. I have heard both Sacramento and New Orleans mentioned. The Kings name would work fine here, but Pelicans would have to go.

JABARI BIRD ARRESTED 

"Jabari Bird is currently being guarded by the Boston Police at a local hospital for an evaluation after a domestic incident that occurred in Brighton on Friday," the department said in a brief statement Saturday. "The victim involved in the incident was also transported to a separate hospital for treatment of injuries sustained."

Police said complaints would be sought against Bird for assault and battery, strangulation and kidnapping. He could be arraigned as early as Monday in Brighton District Court. Brighton is a neighborhood of Boston.

It just goes to show you, we really don't know any of these people. Based on everything else I've seen about him, Bird was a very quiet guy.

I guess I'd say I'm surprised, but what's my basis for that? Nothing, really. Just because he played ball at the school I went to? Nah.

Depending upon who you talk to, the owner of the Phoenix Suns has or has not threatened to move the team to T-Mobile Arena to join the Vegas Golden Knights as tenants if the stadium situation in Phoenix isn't worked out soon.
