Why was he still out there in the 8th in a blowout. This is where i dont get scioscia. I would have everyone on 6 inning limits especially with expanded rosters

i was honestly wondering the same thing.  scioscia doesnt seem to comprehend that it's a long season and it might be a good idea to give your pitchers some extra rest when you're up by 8 damn runs in the 7th inning.

we dont have a crappy bullpen anymore. the game was pretty much over with smith and street ready for the last 2 innings, what was the point of stretching him out?  someone please ask the idiot that question.

If the game is over why would you use smith and street?

most of the triple a talent was up on the big club when they were healthy

Which is the point of a triple a team to begin with

My original comment was in response to a person saying play our AAA players from here on out.  I think you misread what my post was about.  If we played our AAA players from here on out than we would give the A's a chance to come back in when the division.

My guess is the MRI isn't going to show anything, but that they're going to be extremely cautious and say he's 'day to day'. Probably push his next start back at least a couple days. In other words, even best case scenario, I don't think we're going to hear today that he's totally fine and will make his next start as scheduled.

The movement on his pitches, and his painting the black, is sick, sick, sick.

If their was a post-ASB Cy Young award, he'd be in serious running.

72.1 innings: 1.87 ERA, 0.85 WHIP, 62/9 Ks/BBs (Greg Maddux like)

Only Kluber and Sale have had a comparable or better post-ASB.
