Team defense was pathetic. Really beginning to question Boudreau. We don't play a very solid defensive system

I think it has a lot to do with lack of execution on defense. Always appear flat-footed, caught up ice, out of position. This makes puck control and forechecking that much more important.

Somebody 'splain this to me. Today at practice, Bruce puts Belesky and Smith-Pelly on Kesler's line. Excuse me if I'm missing something, but WTF.

Man what an amazing goal by Getzlaf in the last minute to steal 2 points. The team overall looked good in the 1st period, not really so much the rest.

Yeah Getz with the clutch goal!  Team still was sloppy.  In the two games so far they have really struggled clearing the puck into the neutral zone.  It is killing them.  On the positive side, Lindholm looked much better today.  It was Stoner who was exposed.

Not a lot of flow in the game but the Ducks did what they needed to do. I'll take it. The next two should be very winnable games.

No team imposes their will night in and night out on the road. Andersen came up big when needed. Something Gibson couldn't do. Curious who goes vs Buffalo Monday.

Kesler is showing his worth. I bought tix for the Flyers/Ducks on Tuesday. Can't wait.

Kesler has been as advertised, if not better. What an amazing pickup. Early game in Buffalo today. Game time at noon. Hopefully a game the Ducks jump ahead quickly and don't look back.

Really strange right?  Not sure I ever remember a day hockey game on a weekday?  I know today is a "holiday."  Maybe it is because Buffalo is basically Canada and they celebrate Thanksgiving today.

Outside of the Maroon injury ($&*!), great overall game. The rookie William Karlsson is legit. His first goal was a howitzer of a shot!
