Burnett pitches simulated game

See you back June 1st

Burnett pitches simulated game

Who cares, I'm not counting on him anyways

Burnett pitches simulated game

What's taking him so long, F'ing Dipoto

Burnett to make minor league rehab appearance

Who cares, I'm not counting on him. F'ing Angels.

Burnett pitches in minor league game

I stopped caring long ago about this guy (despite the fact that I am constantly in this thread)

Burnett pitches in minor league rehab game

He doesn't care because he can still sign his checks

Eventually it will end like this:

Burnett pitches perfect 6th inning for Amgels in his 2014 debut

Yea well the Angels are stupid for not bringing him up sooner

I sitll don't know who this guy is but it's good to hear he's about to essentially get his ST started.   I personally don't care if he takes his own sweet time getting ready and isn't back til just before the ASB, so long as he's back healthy and capable of throwing as he had in the past.

Just for giggles it would be awesome to see this guy make his season debut wearing a Lone Ranger mask.

Part of the payback for surviving last season may very well be an effective reliever coming seemingly out of nowhere without costing any trade chips. It's like finding a twenty in your jacket pocket after you haven't worn it since last year at this time.

I get all of that.

It's simply comical how many times he has been close to a rehab assignment, only to take a step or 3 backwards.

And this coming on the heels of Madsen being TWO years into TJ surgery recovery and STILL not pitching.

But that is the Halos history in a nutshell.

What org has been as snakebit as this one????

I am just not convinced he is perfectly healthy. I get the sense this is more of a situation where they are throwing him out there because he has reached maximum improvement, even though he doesn't look/feel as good as he should.

Guys it's finally happening:

Sean Burnett in to pitch the 8th.

1st batter single.

2nd batter single

3rd batter pop-out. One out

4th batter infield single.

5th batter walks in run.

6th batter strikeout. Two out.

7th batter. 2-run double.

Taken out of the game.

23 pitches. 15 strikes.

Left a bunch of his pitches up.

Better than half of Jepsen's appearances.

I'm amazed they let him throw 23 pitches, with all his fragility and everything.
