Time to sign Morales

The first? What about the other 4 games where we scored 4 or fewer runs? Granted, the pitching in those games was awful as well, but that doesn't absolve the offense.

No way!!! Keep the draft pick and hold tight. I agree with bringing up Cron. Besides, last nights game was lost by a mix up between pitcher and catcher. Ianetta holds onto that swinging third strike and the inning is over. Instead they scored 4.

Yes，I like Pujols and don't mind a 5 years deal, but 10 years? Hell no!

 

Let's see, if the Angels didn't sign Pujols, they can instead use the money to keep Greinke, give Vargas his 4th year and keep Morales and Trumbo, then sign Hamilton.

 

The rotation -- Weaver, Greinke, Wilson, Vargas, Richards

 

Line up -- KC, HK, Trout, Hamilton, Trumbo, Morales,  Freese, Iannetta, Aybar

I know there is little faith in the Angel's training staff but even if Kendrys were signed today what are the odds that he gets in enough minor league or extended spring training ABs to be ready before Hamilton gets back?

We were blown out in all those games. We will win our shares of 10-9 games, but it's not like you can expect an offense to score ten runs.

I mostly agree with you Strad, but the pitchers out of the pen in a close game are much less likely to give up 5+ runs.  Most of those games were fairly close until the later innings.

If it's after June and he's not signed yet, go for it. Until then, shelling out a draft pick would be dumb.
