Aww the its early comment rears its ugly head. Being below 500 or at 500 is a slow start no matter how you slice it. Whether its a month or two months or 3 months into the season. They should have a winning record. Being satisfied with a below 500 record in the first 2 months of the season is and should be viewed as a failure and a slow start.

I think what he is saying is that 75 games is basically half the season and can't really be considered a "start".

Blaming Scioscia for the team slow starts is beyond stupid. Angels starting pitching had a ERA above 5.0 in April. Hitting wasn't that much better. These players are all professional and are responsible for their own short comings. Mike Scioscia's job doesn't entail baby sitting these players. MLB is a collections of the best players on the planet and it's a privilege to be playing the game they love.

So if our Angels start 2014 let's say......38-14 we shouldn't give Scioscia any credit.

I saw a noticable improvement in USC's football team after making a change at the top.

Something we won't see until 2018.

Once a coaching change is made, how does the team get better? I guess a better question is why would a team get better when the coach is changed? Serious question.

Look at last night:

Instead of a toxic home atmosphere (where the crowd is booing at every opportunity, mainly at Kiffin), the crowd was completely in support of the team

Ogeron changed around practices, opening up to media and visitors again.  Instilled a different, looser attitude (Roscoe's Chicken and Waffles, etc, different walkthrough, etc)

The playbook looked very different.  Kiffen was afraid to let Kessler throw downfield (see WSU, Utah St.), unless it was a vastly inferior opponent (Hawaii, BC)

Some of this may apply to a major league team and major league manager.  Some may not.

But the difference in the look of the team was striking.

Wow you don't have to check grammar but when you typing hace instead of have have doesn't it stand out to you? Or baded when you want to type based.

I really dont give a crap about grammer. This the Internet. Very few things posted do jot follow grammar.

Second I usually post on my cell phone thus I am more prone for typographical erors.

Third it is really said that the best response to my hass nothing to with the subject but proper english.

Bullpen, bullpen, bullpen. Keep Butcher preoccupied with other duties other than the bullpen.

Sign Tanaka (or equivalent) and Vargas.

Give Trout a decent raise with incentives. Not showing up to ST with a fat ass would be a good start.
