This really is absolutely demoralizing to watch. I knew it was coming, but when Beltre launched that ball to the moon I was still left sitting there silently starring at the TV. I'm in absolute disbelief the way this is going down. Is this how Boston felt in 2011? Is this worse? Who knows..

I knew it was coming.  I looked up at the TV and saw Beltre was up and thought 'Bombs away next pitch' and it happened.  So predictable.

when the bottom of the ninth started I texted my brother "Ready for another walk off HR."

I keep watching because at seasons end you are watching Angels history and something to always come up..

...easily the most underacheiving team based on expectations, payroll, etc.

Admit it, it's like watchimg TMZ of MLB.

Angels easily the most underachieving team based on payroll.

Nats easily the most underachieving team based on expectations.

Jays easily the most underachieving team based on etc.

That just about covers them all.

boston's meltdown was probably worse. they were in contention all year and went 8-16 to end the season and their playoff chances.

It was way worse. Most of us knew in our hearts that the Angels were done about one month ago.

Texas had one walk-off HR this year... until they faced the 2013 Angels. Impressive showing Halos.

Correction.  Their last walk off  home run was by Josh Hamilton May 23 last year.  The only one last year

I meant those 3 attributes applied against any Angels team in club history, not across baseball for this year.

But even then, I'd still put my money behind 2 of those 3 for the Angels across any team in baseball this year as well.

Wait, I'd not put any money behind this team.  For any reason.

I'm still wondering who is more disappointing.  Nats or Angels.  I'm almost thinking Nats, because everyone knew the pitching was going to be the weakspot.  Nats looked stack from top to bottom, starting and finishing.

We make the Astros look like pennant contenders, so I had faith that we could do at least that much in Arlington.
