Hard to know, right?  Just a few days ago, we were surmising that he was focusing on pitching (SP, RP), but his next moved instead was a 4th OF.  I'm guessing he is working on multiple things at once and hoping something pans out.

That said, I imagine most FOs are focusing right now on their arbitration cases, since those numbers are due in 2 days.

Burnes/Woodward/similar level of pitcher

for:

Quero, he going to breakout and be a top 50 project in all of MLB

Bachman/Bush; Bachman returns to form and we keep him. Instead we ship Bush,who puts up similar numbers to last year and is consider in 75-90 range.

Suarez; solid 3/4 and also young enough.

Low level prospect with good upside.

I'm not sure about that one.  Cruz' numbers are in a steep decline, and he is hitting in a notorious pitchers park.

There is the lowest amount of risk possible in that deal.

He could hit two clutch homers and be worth it.

Gavin Lux rates as a pretty poor SS.  I think they need a better defensive option, and this is likely it.  To go from Trea Turner to Miguel Rojas is quite the drop-off.

Rojas had a 2.5 bWAR last year. I'm having a hard time finding the Angels combined SS bWAR but I imagine it's close to that.

Yeah.  Rojas is a decent complementary player.  I would have not minded getting him, but once we acquired Drury, it seemed doubtful we'd make any further moves, given we have 6 infielders.
