I never said he would be a good major leaguer. I asked why people were down on him when his numbers in the minors looked good this year.

Because his minor league numbers have otherwise been unimpressive. And this year they've been buoyed by stops at A and AA where he put up an OPS over 1.000. So it basically turns into 83 at-bats of halfway decent AAA performance against many hundreds of average to poor performance
