Exactly! I don't see any Johnny Bench's on our roster or farm system. It hurts to lose Jose but only from a sentimental standpoint IMO.

Yeah, I mean he's well liked but so was Mickey Hatcher.

I'd like to see some younger coaches as well as identifying a guy to be a manager in waiting after say three more seasons.

Wise I think is the youngest coach on the staff, and maybe he wasn't totally ready for the pitching coach job, but I say give him another year.

If this was about money I’ll get pissed.  Molina brothers have had a huge and positive impact on the Angels.  I saw no indication of whether this was the organization’s choice or Jose’s.  No one telling just yet.

Ah yes….they’ve finally identified what the problem has been the past few seasons.  It’s been Jose all along.  Well thank God they finally cut bait with him.

I hope he left for a bigger, better position elsewhere.

It'd be nice to know whether Molina was let go by the organization or if Molina is moving on by his own choice.

That would give insight into whether the Angels wanted to make this change or if they were forced to.

I don't know why we haven't heard about the statuses of the other coaches.

At first, I read it as Jose Mota and thought about time, the 20 year experiment is finally over.  Then I saw it was Jose Molina and just shook my head.  

Considering Heyman put the sentence, "Angels may have other staff changes as well."  Pretty much, to me, means that Molina's contract was not renewed/he was fired/let go.  Not the he left on his own path.

Most of the time when a manager has a bad season, there are repercussions to the staff. Molina might be a casualty. Does anyone know if the Angels let their catchers call their own game? I remember Scioscia used to call it from the dugout for most catchers.
