I wonder if one potential 1B/OF coach candidate could be Tim Leiper. He is currently the Giants minor league outfield coordinator and was the Blue Jays 1B/OF coach from 2014-2018, a time in which Perry Minasian worked in the Blue Jays front office.

The Angels in 2021 had 16 players thrown out at home. The Yankees had 22, tied with the Royals for the most in MLB.

A few years ago I took yoga teacher training in Spain for a month- there was only one other American among the students and neither of us knew another language. I felt quite Canadian.  Thankfully the course was in English.

Plus they start using a little Spanish, a little French and who knows what other languages.  Everyone should speak English everywhere all the time because I’m no good at languages (plus a wee bit lazy).
