The only prediction I am willing to make is that we will have at least 2 more phases this year where a majority of AW will believe that Angels have a chance to eek into the post season and at the very moment when that sense feels most legitimate the Angels will eat shit for 4 or 5 games and the vent thread will once again feature a great deal of weeping.

If they are going to make a run this is the last ditch.  11 of the next 15 against the twins, Rockies, and rangers.  Three of the worst teams on the league.  In those 11 they need to go at least 8-3 and then split with Oakland.  10-5 or better needs to be done.

Madden is done such a great job this year with all the injuries and little to none provided by the front the angels front office 

our line up is absolutely trash and we hover around .500.

I think the season comes down to the next 7 days. If we don't go 6-1 against the Twins and Rockies we will probably trade Cobb and the Iglesias Brothers at the trade deadline.

You could take even the best managers in MLB history and put them in the place of Maddon and they would still look bad with this pitching staff, especially the bullpen. And since he's managed the Angels, they haven't had deep pitching staffs.

Terrible BP, injures up the ass, .500 record, and we can’t beat the teams in front of us and the teams in our division. 
 

My hope is that Trout comes back healthy and mashes, Ohtani continues to crush the ball and pitches well, and the young guys geT a shot and do well.
