Albright was the one to worry about right?  The high school kid?

Isnt it crazy that the high school kid is the one that goes over? Youd think college arms would be more expensive.

So to catch up. How does everyone feel about the draft? Looking more like passing on rocker made more sense?

Yep….he had evidently talked to a lot of teams before the draft and the Angels were willing to meet his price…..

There was another guy from ASU that was supposed to be challenging.  I don’t believe he has signed yet.

Hard to get the logic of going back to ASU as a Senior….you have no leverage…..may be bluffing….

All above from Baseball America

Still unsigned?

#11 Chase Silseth

#13 Mo Hanley

#20 Marcelo Perez

Still available $362,795.00 (includes 5% over) plus allowed $125,000 each.

So that means we have signed the rest of them?

If he has only a year of classes left, he could sign and go to classes in the fall semester and work out at the Spring Training complex. Then next fall, finish up his classes.

That might mean Silseth isn't signing. Could be wrong.

The deadline to sign is maybe when fall classes start in August?

But if he goes back for his senior year couldn’t some team draft him and offer him $5k in a take it or leave it and he is under control with that team for a year?

July 30

Here are a few things to know as we head into 2021 trade deadline: The trade deadline is 4 p.m. ET on Friday, July 30. MLB moved it up one day because July 31 is a Saturday with several day games, making logistics difficult (trade candidates would be held out of the lineup, etc.).2 days ago

What does the trade deadline have to do with amateur signings?

I screwed up, Signing deadline is August 1st

"Under MLB's new schedule, three important events -- the draft (July 11-13), the signing deadline (August 1), and the trade deadline (July 30) --  are packed into a three-week window. Predictably, that sprint has left front-office types feeling overwhelmed and underprepared for what lies next, with one source describing their workload as "basically never ending."
