Imagine having a job where if you quit people on the internet will take issue with it.

Nobody is taking issue with him quitting his job. I, in fact, am celebrating it since he sucks.

People are taking issue with his timing of him "not ever liking baseball."

There's a difference.

Probably the worst parenting of all is having your child grow up to be an arrogant prick lawyer. Especially one that never even went to a top tier college but still acts as though he is part of some elite hierarchy because he paid to get into the Elks Lodge so he can get drunk with aged out boomers.

Loyola is a very good school.

Where did you go to school?

This is my favorite thread of the year. By far.

Pages of guys racking their brains trying to come up with acceptable name-tag wearing occupations will always be classic.

I love this thread because you and a guy you dislike are in lock step.

Again, is it really a coincidence that the most professionally successful members of AW are the most skeptical of his statement and decision?

I work in finance, which is literally the nexus of people with limited skills and hobbies who have deluded themselves into thinking that having lots of money will compensate for that. I spend my day surrounded by guys comfortably making 500k+ a year throwing tantrums over an extra space after a period or a folder being named wrong. It's blatantly obvious that these people are all miserable, because no person that is comfortable with their career or life spends their day being a hardass (or bloviating on a message board, for that matter). If you need to make these sorts of statements to justify your opinion, you fall exactly into this category.

"Well I make a lot of money and have hobbies, I think? So I must be happy, right? RIGHT??"
