Intentional walks. Baseball is the only sport in the world where the defense can legally take away the offense's best weapon with zero effort.
It drives me nuts.

Also, implement the pitch clock please.

There's no way around it. Unless every player in your lineup is amazing.

Like there's no way to prevent NBA players from fouling on purpose... unless they all shoot free throws well.

It's not unique to baseball.

The NBA thought of getting rid of hack-a-shaq several times, despite it only happening at the end of halves. They came up with ideas like giving the ball back in addition to the free throws, although it wasn't implemented. Anyway, hacking is closer to the shift in baseball. Make free throws and it doesn't happen.

The IBB is a lot worse, and there are many ways around the IBB. This would be extremely unpopular for the purists, but a batter can refuse to take a walk, and you can create a 2 base walk when it gets to 6 balls. Or, you can give the batter a free pitch, where a designated BP pitcher comes out and serves a meat ball when you throw 4 straight wide.

Teams would just issue "unintentional" intentional walks. If they want to walk a batter, theres nothing that can be done about it.

The batter has the right to refuse to walk. If it gets to 6 balls, it's a 2 base walk. 8 balls, a triple. And 10 balls, a HR.

There surely are ways.

Why stop there? They could also opt for a 6-strike K. If they do, it would count as 2 outs.

And the shortstop gets to carry one if those big NERF bats and can hit 3 runners per game as they pass by him.

The problem is a guy can just throw four balls outside the zone and say it wasn't on purpose.

It happens all the time

Yes, but there are many ways to discourage pitchers from doing that.

Change the rules. If you walk Mike Trout, you don't get to take the bat away from him.

We've already implemented the ghost runner in extra-innings. If you walk somebody, you get a choice to use a ghostrunner, and Mike Trout bats again.
