Very possible but I'd prefer the Angels signing someone to a similar contract as opposed to the contracts Cole, Strasburg, Price and so on have gotten.

Arte literally cancelled a trade with the Dodgers last year. Now the Dodgers signed the prized FA pitcher everyone thought the Angels would sign. I believe Arte is too proud to take on David Price to help the Dodgers save a few bucks.
