I just meant that the yanks spent way more than everyone else did back a few years ago and everyone complained about fairness.  About time the LAD do the same as the big dog on west coast.  They have recently and doing more so.  Good for them.  IF that's your team, you love it.  That's allowed in MLB.  It's not cheating like the Astros.  I have no problem with their payroll.  

MLB and every other league needs an evil empire to root against.

That is odd. I don't think he necessarily thinks that, exactly.  I just think he digs the scene. The idea of having his own company. The attention.

At this point in time, it's tough for a baseball player to be incredibly successful off the field.

I always thought he was just an attention whore... that I don't get... but I just came across a story of him harassing someone on Twitter with 80 tweets? Gonna look into that.

Even if you ignore that, I just don't see him being a brand. Could be wrong. I'm no expert
