Guys he struck out the side in order in the 3rd on 11 pitches (9 of them strikes)..

The first two batters of the 3rd struck out on 6 straight strikes.

9 strikeouts through 3 innings.

watching the game.  2bman for the opposing team made one of the best catches I've seen over his shoulder down the RF line crashing into the wall.  Didn't realize at the time but it was our old friend Leo Rivas.

Is he throwing the changeup? I really can't tell from the strikeouts I've seen if its the slider or the changeup he threw as it had more of a diving action then a cutting one..

he started throwing it in the 3rd.  Didn't show it until then.

I have never heard of him until today but Lorenzo Cedrola is already my least favorite player ever.

After a leadoff error (10 pitch at-bat by my new arch enemy Lorenzo Cedrola). 2 more strikeouts and a pickoff for Detmers gets him through the 4th. 11 strikeouts through 4 innings for Detmers.
