@Fireball is right. We really shouldn't be arguing over which news network is better. We all have our preferences and bias.

There's more important stuff to get worked up about and discuss.

Like how Covid has negatively impacted the textile industry?

An international poll of more than 6,000 doctors released Thursday found that the antimalarial drug hydroxychloroquine was the most highly rated treatment for the novel coronavirus.

Reports are coming back that seem to be positive, which is a great sign.

A poll of doctors doesn't really fit into that equation, that's anecdotal at best. As they start running more clinical trials and getting scientific feedback, that will be the real telltale sign.

In one respect that certainly helps in this situation, at least initially...but from what I've read rural areas are not going to be immune and you'll start seeing outbreaks in those smaller cities/areas. Right now NY is obviously the hot spot, for a number of reasons, and those numbers dwarf what you see elsewhere. But NY is also a few weeks ahead on the curve. NY also has a massive hospital infrastructure, which many of these smaller rural communities don't. So, you won't see the huge numbers, but at the same time those smaller communities can't take a large amount of patients.

For example, Bishop and Inyo county has been begging people to stay away because they simply can't support a large number of sick people. They have (as of 2 weeks ago...or was it 1 week...shit, time drags) 2 ventilators and 20 some odd beds, for the whole county. An infection of a couple hundred people would simply overwhelm their capability to care for people. It's like that in most rural areas of the US.

Yep, I was planning a fishing trip to Inyo and Mono counties until this all happened.

So you pretty much nailed 99.9% of Hollywood actors real life characters.

Charles Ingals > Michael Landon.

See you got your mask off so you must be feeling better.  Michelle has made a hundred of them but she still can't find skull and crossbones material to make me one.

Thanks, Trump!

Remember when some left biased news networks and the DEMS were claiming that this drug was not effective and was misleading people?

No, but I remember when they said it was untested, or premature at that point.

Trump's claim that malaria drug can treat coronavirus gives hope, but little evidence it will work

While some small studies give doctors reason to hope, large clinical trials are needed to determine whether the drugs are truly effective in fighting COVID-19, they say.

“We really need to continue to conduct research to find out what works,” former Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Scott Gottlieb said Sunday on CBS’ “Face the Nation.” “Right now, there’s no drug that looks like it’s proven so overwhelming in early-stage clinical trials that we can say it’s highly promising.”
