Ok, so we lost 5-1.  Who gets the blame and what percentage would you give them.  Here is how I see it.

60% offense

30% Kole had an off day defensively

10% Ausmus for starting Cozart/coaching for not really emphasizing going the other way.

I would bump the blame up a little more for the offense. You gotta score more than 1 run against a 16-30 team.

Hard to give much blame to Kole imo. Dude is a GG defender ... the only way he makes those catches is off his feet which could turn into a inside the park HR if the ball gets by him. Those were both difficult to judge off the bat.

I didn’t think Skaggs was all that sharp and the offense didn’t provide any timely hitting or much of any hitting. The struggles with LH pitching.

If Cozart is only going to start once a week, maybe it is time to dump him.

The offense is to blame, have to score more than that
