Played my first round of the year. Shoot a 41. I was all over the place with my irons ... Had three 3 putts.

I have never played in Vegas itself but did play Wolf Creek in Mesquite.  What a great course and I really never found my ball once. Only course in my life I hit the clubhouse on the turn buying another dozen.

98 at Tustin Ranch. Awful round. Bad case of the hooks off the tee. Missed a few short putts too. Put a couple in the drink. Fun though

42 from the tips at cedar hills (3 penalty strokes). My wife shot a 54. She tied my 7 year old and my 9 year old shot a 50. I have my boys play from 200 out on the par 4's and 250 on the par 5's

Found my ball on the 538 yard par 5.  Street runs down the left side of the fairway and was down by the stop sign 50 yards past the hole. Won long drive but took an 8.

Tank, hitting 3rd shot off the tee again you are still away.  There still is the thrill of watching your ball and the approaching car about to meet. I don't usually drive the ball 600 yards but when I do it is in the street.

Played Sienna GC out in Summerlin last weekend. Very nice course. Great Value. Tough greens...

 

Had 5 birdie putts on the front. Made bogey on 4 of those holes.

ouch. were they really big greens and you were on in regulation, but were 65 feet away?

On a couple of them. But just different levels. Downhill, double breaking 18 footers are tough. I couldn't find speed til the back. When I did, I was awful off the tee.

Those are interesting but tough greens. There are times I think tiered greens are fun and times I think they blow goats. All depends on how the round is going.
