Rodney has a 6.75 ERA on the season. He stinks

he's sucked for a while.

he's also 42, the oldest player in MLB this year. i hope he signs a 5 year extension with the A's or Houston or both.

I can barely see with all the sand coming out of everyone's vagina.

That's another scenario that could be explored in tdawgs "taint injury" thread. Though I have to say it would sound like a legit cause for being on the ITL for 10-12 weeks.

that's a great one.  I've never seen either of them do anything like that.

It's a bad look... never would have happened if Scioscia was the manager. You don't show up your teammate.

In this case what other response is appropriate? They didn't go Lackey on LaStella and yell or cuss at him for screwing up. They knew they had the play in place and responded to the failure to complete it. Nobody got heated in the dugout, the play happened, they reacted then turned the page once it was over.

Of course, Fletcher being sent in as a defensive replacement in the 8th says more than Trout and Calhoun. That was definitely Ausmus saying, take a seat, you F-ed up.

I was half kidding, folks.... at least about the Scioscia part.

It was a bad look for Lackey and it's a bad look regardless of who you are. Not saying it wasn't justified or that I wouldn't have done the same... it's just never a good thing to show up a teammate, IMO.
