Matt Thaiss is 5 for 8 with three doubles and a triple. that swing of his is sweet. Reminds me of the Mets Conforto's swing, so smooth!

He's like the child that knows he's the biggest disappointment in the family. Even when he does well the first thing he thinks of is how its not good enough, and then he wants to throw his helmet.

I'd like to see him get some hits in the minor leagues before we give him a real shot at the major league level after 8 solid ABs.

In all seriousness though, he looked awful in doing so. I get that no one is just going to walk away from 90 mill or whatever we owe him but he’s truly an embarrassment to the game at this point.

Really bothered by Calhoun seeming to be back to pulling literally everything.   I havent seen all his at bats so if im wrong please correct me as the ones ive seen have been really not encouraging.

Jeez Thaiss just had an incredible at-bat with 2 outs to drive in two with a triple. Fouled off many pitches and worked the count full then ripped the pitch to right field. Already has 10 RBI’s this spring.

Thaiss is killing it again today. 2 AB's, 2 Hits, 2 RBI's, 1 run, hitting .700 this spring and slugging it out at 1.400
