Well Duh.  He was a mistake to sign, especially for the amount in the first place.  If some team is stupid enough to correct that error, then good for the Kings and haha on the other team.

Freeway Series update: Thanks to ur OT loss the Kings move down to 5th overall pick & the Ducks move to 4th overall.

At 4th & 5th it looks like Turcotte/Dach & Podkolzin/Byram being the best players available.

And now the Kings and Dorks are tied for the worst record in the Western Conference.   The Dorks have the worst +/- in the NHL.

Yet, both are only 8 points out of a SC playoff spot.    Take away ridiculously good TB, and the NHL has got some crazy balance going.

Went to the game last night and freely admit I was there primarily to see Ovechkin, who didn’t disappoint.

i really have no idea where to go with the Kings. I’m not terribly impressed with the kids, and there seem to be far too many underachievers with everyone else. 

I don't envy Rob Blake.

Must be nice to have a GM that understands things for the way they are.  Instead of a GM that holds out hope to make the playoffs even though his team is closer to Hughes than a playoff spot.

So this means that you would have 2 firsts, second, 2 thirds, 2 fourths, fifth, sixth, and seventh in an extremely deep draft.  That's one way to get healthy quick.

Pearson has been a healthy scratch for Pitt and has 2 years left at 3.75 aav and hags is off the books at seasons end

Since Hagelin came for Peason wouldn't it be Pearson for a 3rd and conditional 6th.  Getting out of Pearson's contract is worth it even without the picks. It's a shame that Pearson's leg injury seems to have derailed his career.
