for the dodgers: robinson, reese, snider, and campanella

for the yankees: mantle, berra

that's all i can come up with.

Enos Slaughter was a part time player for the Yankees, and was in the lineup the day of Larsen's perfect game. Not sure what number he wore (9 or 17), but I think this picture is from that game.

It was Slaughter's second tour with the Yankees, previous one was in 1954, and then acquired by the A's early in 1955, and then re-acquired by the Yankees during the 1956 season.

The KC A's became essentially a "minor league" team for the Yankees in the mid/late 1950s, with the Yankees acquiring a lot of players from the A's.   Most famous acquisition was Roger Maris, after the 1959 season.

Forgot that Gil Hodges never made the HOF.   He died way too young, early in the 1972 season while still managing the Mets.

#17, left fielder

0-2 with a BB. He went 7-20 in the Series total, with 1 HR and 4 RBI

Yogi had a great Series: 3 HR, 10 RBI, OPS of 1.248
