Major League Baseball needs to incorporate language into all contracts that allows a team to reconsider it's offer. This is not going to stop until money is lost by the players.

I'm all for teams being allowed to tear up a contract after a failed test. The penalties aren't severe enough.

A lot of people (including me) would agree with that, but I think a huge fight with the Players Association would be inevitable if such an idea were ever floated. 

 

Cheating in order to get a bigger paycheck has become the norm in professional sports. It's really a shame.
