On another forum a guy who hasn't filed his 2020 return just yet received a payment based on his 2019 filing which included 5 dependents.  His oldest who filed his own return for 2020 and won't be claimed as a dependent on his parents 2020 return also received a payment.  As there's no claw back of stimulus payments per the IRS anyone in a similar situation won't have to pay anything back.

Apparently, the IRS was quick to withdraw money for my taxes I owed for 2020.  But when it comes to giving me the $1400, I get the not processed or not eligible message.

Maybe they'll invest the money into accounts for their kids' educations
