I didn't realize that the magic number had gone back up to 16.

Of its five seasons, Season Four (4) of Miami Vice is probably the least favorite.  It is the season when Tubbs grows a beard.  Which is weird.  It's also a little sloppy in its story telling.  However, Season 4 concludes with Crockett nearly getting blown up on a boat, which leads to his amnesia and taking residence with Julia Roberts, who lives with a drug king pin.  (I have it on good information that Don Johnson made love to Julia Roberts during the shooting of this episode).

 

Most intriguing, the explosion on the boat causes Sonny to suffer amnesia, and he awakens believing he really is his undercover identity, Sonny Burnett.  As Burnett, Crockett becomes a ruthless protector of the king pin and ends up shooting his partner Tubbs.

 

These are all exciting notes on Season 4, paralleled in excitement only with the fact that the Season's number coincides with the Angels' current magic number:  Four (4).

In all seriousness, this upcoming series against the M's has me worried. The Angels have been beating up on bottom dwellers, and with the offense slowing down today, I don't see it picking up much against Mariners pitching.
