I thought he was great as a player - when he was in the line up Halos seemed to win.

 

look at '95 when he got hurt -- Halos lost a 10 game lead over Seattle fast.

well, DiSar's number were not stellar but the team as a whole certainly played better when he was in the line up.

 

as third base coach this year -- well, we've seen a lot of potential runs thrown out at third this year........

 

aggressiveness is one thing -- having rallies snuffed out with an out at third is another -- it has cost us runs and wins.

I prefer players to not make outs on the base paths. When the 3B coach makes reckless decisions as if he was coaching a JV high school team that results in needless outs...

Another knee jerk to an error. A lot of people have wanted every 3rd base coach fired after a game with a mistake, whether we won or not.
