Abso-****in-lutely!  My second favorite team is the Devils (A couple buddies and I flew back for game 4, back in '95!), but this was an amazing recovery from Kariya!  He was KO'd earlier, and walking toward the light.. before he decided to breathe again.  Then, he came back and did that!

I don't think anyone expected the Ducks to sweep Dallas. They've been a horrible matchup with the Ducks for years now. I expected a 5-6 game series. For some damn reason those a-holes give us fits. Hell, I was on the side of hoping we got the #2 seed and faced Minnesota instead because of my fear of the Dallas matchup. Also, I'm not sitting here ready to throw down with you dude lol. Just some friendly competitive banter. I was responding to that one claim. That's all man.

It's confidence, not momentum. Some will say they are one in the same, but I don't believe so because momentum can swing 4 or 5 times in a game but a teams confidence can stay the same throughout.

Also, I think Kings fans are expecting a huge turnout but I'm pretty sure at least Game 1 will be close to 85-15 Ducks dominated. Tickets sold extremely fast on Monday.

That's a good starting point, so let's go from there (We could start from the Ducks 3&4 games. But from your posts, it's safe to assume you didn't watch them).

 

NHL officiating is 'adjustable' at best and corrupt at worst. The best example out of the present playoffs is Montreal. It's no coincidence, that the only series won in a sweep was completed by the only Canadian team in the playoffs. The 3&4 games in the Ducks/Stars playoff was highly skewed to favor the Stars. Then in game 5, the rug was pulled out from under Garbutt and (I can't remember that other hacks name). The NHL favors 6-7 game series and does what they can to see that it happens.

 

I hope people in this thread realize this. This series is going 6-7 games unless the team that goes up 1 or 2 games stands on their heads to finish it out. Just because your team comes back from being down, won't mean they did it on their own.
