Going forward, 1 of these 2 will hopefully become the teams closer of the future

Also Mike Morin went into the 7th with 1 out and got his first save in AAA.

Bedrock will be what Kevin Jepsen always should've been. Morin will be a lesser version of Ryan Madson in his prime and RJ Alvarez will be a more erratic version of K-Rod. My feelings wouldn't be hurt if all 3 were promoted right now, even though Alvarez could use a bit more seasoning.

He wasn't fazed at all in ST against major league hitters and looked quite good.

Isn't it amazing how quickly Bedrosian has found success since the Angels switched him into relief. I knew that's where he'd end up all along and thus wasn't thrilled we spent a first round pick on him, but I don't think anyone envisioned everything coming together at once this quickly for him. He's striking everything out.

I am sure most good league big relief pitchers could not strike out 15 out of 17 A/AA batters. Bedrosian might be ready to succeed in the bigs right now. Didn't K-Rod start the 2002 season in A ball?

That seems better than Wall, Jepsen and Herrera at the very least but then again, most things sound better than seeing those guys pitch with a lead late in the game.

Morin with the save in a scoreless 9th. Struck out two, including the Dodgers top prospect who had been red hot in Joc Pederson.
