Jepsen should be a mop up pitcher.  I say never, ever use him in the 9th in a one run game, winning or losing.

Mike doing a poor job with the pen in game #1. Jepsen has been TERRIBLE vs LH batters for years and he leaves him in to face so many of them when he has Maronde in the pen? WTF

Same @#$% different year. The bullpen is still utter garbage, the offense still goes into a coma after the 4th inning, and back end of the rotation is still a big question mark. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Oh, I know. He is exempt from quite a bit around here. Jeppy is Scioscia's boy and we all know Scioscia likes to shove his boys down our throats.

I know it's only one game but if Raul looks like this come May 1st, I wouldn't mind giving Morales a call.

 

I don't know about Kendrys, but Ibanez was garbage the 2nd half of last year, looked awful all spring, and looks like toast tonight.  And oh yeah, he's 40.  Not unfair to think he may have hit the wall.
